Banana, citrus and oat smoothie

Perfect for breakfast, this smoothie will give you energy for all the morning chores!

 

SERVES 2

25g oats

50ml skimmed milk

2 bananas

Finely grated zest and juice of 1 orange and 1 lemon

100ml low fat yoghurt

100ml low fat fromage frais

1 tbsp clear honey

4 ice cubes

 

1) Put the oats into a bowl, add the milk and soak overnight in the refrigerator.

2) In the morning place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

 

 

Strawberry smoothie

Ideal for that afternoon treat or dessert

 

SERVES 2

2 cups of frozen or fresh strawberries

1 orange peeled and the pips removed

1 apple peeled and cored

1 cup of low fat yoghurt

1/2 cup of low fat fromage frais

 

Place all the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth

 

 

Sophisticated smoothie

An apéro with a difference for a spring evening with friends

 

SERVES 6

3 mangoes

3 papayas

200g frozen mixed berries

150ml of freshly squeezed orange juice

150ml of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

1 bottle of cava

 

1) Peel the mangoes and papaya and remove all the flesh, place in the blender.

2) With the frozen fruit blend then pass through a sieve to remove any pips.

3) Add the juice and cava, mix and serve in tall glasses.
